L'associazione culturale artMacs nasce a Montecchio Emilia nel Dicembre del 2020 dalla volontà della famiglia di Massimiliano Galliani, prematuramente scomparso, per diffondere la sua ricerca artistica.
La finalità è quella di istituire un premio annuale sul disegno, a lui intitolato, per artisti under 35 e promuovere la loro ricerca artistica in Italia e nel mondo.
Nella sede di via Vittorio Veneto in Montecchio Emilia, già atelier dell'artista, sarà raccolta una parte importante della sua ricerca mostrando periodicamente le opere e i video ad un vasto pubblico individuato attraverso un costante aggiornamento di mailing list indirizzato attraverso importanti canali di informazione del settore a giovani artisti, Accademie di belle Arti , Istituti di Cultura, Musei e Fondazioni sul territorio nazionale e internazionale .
L'associazione indicherà una persona fisica al fine di tenere periodicamente aperto lo spazio a coloro che richiederanno la visione dei materiali espositivi : opere, libri, cataloghi, video , utili alla consultazione per tesi di laurea o ricerche individuali sull'opera di Massimiliano Galliani e il contesto storico in cui si inserisce il suo lavoro.
L'associazione avrà periodicamente funzione espositiva rivolta soprattutto alla ricerca artistica giovanile nell'ambito del disegno. Le esposizioni saranno divulgate attraverso un apposito ufficio stampa . Una brochure pubblicherà gli eventi riproducendone opere e testi. A fine anno si pubblicheranno gli atti e gli eventi culturali. Sono previsti incontri culturali, presentazioni di libri, magazine, che abbiano attinenza con gli scopi della fondazione.
L'associazione con l'avvallo delle istituzioni Montecchiesi vuole istituire un premio a cadenza annuale rivolto alla giovane ricerca artistica. Il premio dedicato alla memoria di Massimiliano Galliani avrà nel disegno il proprio soggetto. Questa manifestazione in collaborazione con la municipalità di Montecchio Emilia usufruirà gratuitamente degli spazi necessari per programmare ed esporre questo evento foriero di importanti sviluppi nel tempo.
Il premio così istituito negli gli spazi necessari potrà dare vita ad interessanti workshop per la realizzazione in loco di nuove ed inedite opere. Gli artisti premiati lasceranno l'opera giudicata vincitrice all'associazione al fine di costituire nel tempo una raccolta del disegno contemporaneo. Ogni rassegna annuale del disegno verrà filmata, documentata , diffusa attraverso i più importanti canali culturali del web .
Questo progetto nasce da un doloroso lutto che cerca attraverso l'Arte e tutti coloro che credono ancora oggi negli storici valori culturali del nostro paese un riscatto che non sia soltanto memoria ma soprattutto futuro per le giovani generazioni creative a cui Massimiliano Galliani apparteneva.

The cultural association artMacs was founded in Montecchio Emilia in December 2020 by the family of Massimiliano Galliani, who died prematurely, to disseminate his artistic research.
The aim is to establish an annual drawing award named after him for artists under 35 and to promote their artistic research in Italy and also worldwide.
At the headquarters in via Vittorio Veneto in Montecchio Emilia, formerly the artist's studio, an important part of his research will be collected, periodically showing his works and videos to the public, identified through a constantly updated mailing list addressed through important information channels in the sector to young artists, Fine Arts Academies, Cultural Institutes, Museums and Foundations in Italy and abroad.
The association will nominate an individual to periodically keep the space open to those who request to see the exhibition materials: works, books, catalogues, videos, useful for consultation for degree theses or individual research on the work of Massimiliano Galliani and the historical context in which his work is inserted.
The association will periodically have an exhibition function aimed above all at young artistic research in the field of drawing. The exhibitions will be publicised through a special press office. A brochure will publish the events, reproducing works and texts. At the end of the year, the proceedings and cultural events will be published. Cultural meetings, book presentations and magazines related to the aims of the foundation are planned.
With the support of the Montecchio institutions, the association intends to establish an annual award for young artistic research. The prize dedicated to the memory of Massimiliano Galliani will have drawing as its subject. This event, in collaboration with the municipality of Montecchio Emilia, will make free use of the spaces required to programme and exhibit this event, which will herald important developments over time.
The prize thus established in the necessary spaces may give rise to interesting workshops for the on-site realisation of new and unpublished works. The winning artists will leave the winning work to the association in order to create a collection of contemporary drawing over time. Each annual drawing exhibition will be filmed, documented and disseminated through the most important cultural channels on the web.
This project stems from a painful mourning; one that seeks through art and all those who still believe in the historical cultural values of our country, a redemption that is not only based in memory but above all in a future for the young creative generation to which Massimiliano Galliani belonged.
